The Common Chiffchaff belongs to the genus Phylloscopus, a group of birds so nondescript that wing bars are considered sporty, a splash of yellow is eccentric, and a dash of orange would be unthinkable. Yet even within this group, the Common Chiffchaff would be considered drab.
